Sausage and Cabbage Skillet

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Chicken Sausage (Aidell's chicken sausage recommended)
    • 1 medium white sweet onion
    • 2 tsp of minced garlic
    • 2 T approved oil
    • 1 carrot
    • 1 average sized cabbage

    Directions

    Cut the chicken sausage in thick round slices.

    Remove the outer green leaves from the cabbage.

    Cut it in half and remove the core. Coarsely shred what’s left.

    Dice up 1 carrot.

    Peel and mince the garlic.

    Peel and chop the onions.

    Cook the sausage over medium heat and until heated all the way through, then place to the side.

    Cook all the other ingredients together until cooked to the consistency and texture you prefer.

    Add sausage to cabbage mixture and serve!
