Instant Pot Hamburger Soup

    • 2 tsp of approved oil
    • 1 lb lean grass-fed ground beef or ground venison
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 2 large carrots, peeled and sliced
    • 2 large celery stalks, sliced
    • 2 T tomato paste
    • 1 c frozen green beans
    • 1 -14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
    • 3 c beef broth
    • 1/2 T minced garlic
    • 2 tsp sea salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper


    For the Instant Pot:


    Set your Instant Pot to Sauté.  Add oil and beef (or venison) and cook until browned.  Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.  Lock lid and set Instant Pot to Soup setting.   

    For the Crockpot:


    In a large skillet, brown beef in oil over medium high heat.  Add browned beef and remaining ingredients to a slow cooker.  Stir well to combine.  Cook on High for 3-4 hours or Low for 6-8 hours.
