Your doing everything right. I get it! So was I.
I had a food addiciton I had to face. After being told by my doctor that I had hypoglycemia and the best thing to do was eat carbs when I felt bad, I spent years eating breads, pasta, and candy in the name of a medical condition.
My choices were healthy according to conventional medicine: oatmeal for breakfast with some orange juice (because grains and fruit are healthy, right?), my lunch was always a lean turkey sandwich and dinner was often potatoes or corn, a whole wheat roll, some form of meat and a “healthy” dessert.
How was I not the absolute picture of health? Heck, my husband ate all of that and more and he was rail thin!

People with advanced diabetes or who are on medications for diabetes, people with a history of eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should not attempt intermittent fasting unless under the close supervision of a physician who can monitor them.
